Before arranging your furniture on the parquet, soft rubber or felt pads should be glued to the furniture feet to avoid scratches and dents. When handling heavy furniture, we recommend using the top side of the carpet facing the floor or other soft surface products. The furniture should be moved carefully so as not to damage the floor.
Only use soft footwear that is safe for the protective coating. Worn footwear may leave marks on the surface of the parquet. Under no circumstances should you walk on the wooden floor with high heels or in footwear with metal plates. Such footwear always leaves marks on the wooden floor in the form of dents.
Care should be taken to ensure that pet claws are well cut (not sharp) and that the paws are clean and free of dirt and sand. Do not use waxes on varnished coatings and do not use varnished floor care agents on wax and oil coatings. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the care of your floor, depending on the coating used. Using the improper product can cause loss of gloss, greasy spots and marks can also appear and they will later be difficult to remove.
We recommend using carpet rugs in areas where the floor is used very intensively, i.e. at the entrance of the room, at the sink, near the kitchen dishwasher, to avoid direct exposure to flooding, moisture and other dirt or detergents.
